PORTFOLIO OF DIGITAL RESOURCES

'MURDER UNDER THE MICROSCOPE' hosts an interactive mystery game for students in years 5 to 10.   The students can also use the website for clues, videos and information while researching various possible issues in an ecosystem.

This is a free resource and available to all smart devices with web connectivity. It is an effective tool as it provides online investigative tasks to support student learning – developing their understanding of ecosystem, environmental problems and finding solutions.  Hackling (2005) contends that in science education there is a strong need for inquiry in the form of open investigations.
