The Office of the Children’s eSafety Commissioner provides Australians a range of up-to-date information and resources, coupled with a comprehensive complaints system to assist children who experience serious cyberbullying.

 

It is suitable for primary and secondary students and can be used by anyone.  It is a free resource and available to any smart device with internet and suitable for primary and secondary students.

 

It is an effective educational tool because it provides online safety education for Australian children and young people, protecting them when they experience serious cyberbullying and managing complaints about offensive or illegal online content.  This resource educates students on personal security protocols and helps them to identify the impacts of ICT in society.  With the rapid revolutiuon of ICT, it is important for students to be more aware of how important it is to keep personal information private and that virtual actions have real-life consequences.
