Edutopia.org is a comprehensive website and online community that increases knowledge, sharing, and adoption of what works in K-12 education. It has a collection of articles, videos, and other resources on internet safety, cyberbullying, digital responsibility, and media and digital literacy.

 

It is a free website, accessible to anyone with internet connectivity.  It is suitable for K-12 level and is an efficient educational resource as it provides classroom strategies for teaching safety on virtual playground and educating them about being a responsible digital citizen and these strategies are engaging and fun-based suitable for the age group.

Responsible digital citizens emerge from schools where students are taught about the rules, risks, and trust involved in the safe, respectful use of social media.  (Hertz, 2015).
